Service Description

We are excited to welcome professional glass artist Jan Ancker to the studio to teach an introductory workshop on glass fusion art! The art of glass fusion grants you the power to create colorful, dynamic works of glass art that are completely unique. Unlike many other glass forms, glass fusing allows you as much time as you need to bring your designs to life since you are working with the glass while it is cold. Compatible sheet glasses are layered by you then fused together in a kiln of site until the glass fuses at approximately 1490 degrees Fahrenheit. Class Date and Time: Sunday, July 13th from 1:00-2:30 Ages: Graduating 4th grade through 100 Cost: $35 per person; Your class fee includes and covers all supplies. Your project will be taken to a kiln off site and available for pick-up the following week starting Wednesday. Payment: Please pay your instructor with cash or check (payable to Jan Ancker) by June 20th by dropping it off at the studio with Ms Florie.
