It's Been Spectacular!

It's hard to believe that we are half way through our summer! We have been amazed at the art work that our young artists are creating. What makes us the happiest as teachers is the pride they show for their work and their willingness to stick with it while they are learning new techniques or learning about new media. We want to thank all the parents who have brought their children to YBS this summer- it's been a true pleasure!

Here are some images of some of the art and projects they have done so far.

This upcoming week is The Science of Art, a week that has us particularly excited. Science and art share so many common threads- imagining, hypothesizing, experimenting, trial and error, working through problems and even collaborating. This week our campers will use media and techniques that work on all these higher level thinking skills, and we can't wait to see the results. We still have a few spots left, so let us know if you want to join in!
