Little Art and Play

​Saturdays are for families and Little Art and Play!  Bring your older toddler or preschooler and join us for age-appropriate process arts, crafts, sensory experiences, and good old fashioned play in our beautiful and inspiring space.  Meet other parents and caregivers and enjoy time with your child as everyone has fun...and leave the clean up to us!  A caregiver must stay and participate in the art projects, so it's a great way to spend quality time together. Dress for mess and bring a light snack and drink if needed.

Saturday Craft Club

Craft Club is an opportunity for your PreK-4 through fifth grader to come to the studio to make some fun arts and crafts with our Yellow Bird Studio staff!  Each month we change the activity to reflect the season and use a wide variety of media, from painting and collage to sewing and model making, its a great way to explore new ideas and get creative on the weekend.  This class is a drop-off class currently only offered at the Westshore Blvd location every 2nd and 4th Saturday afternoon of the month.

Sew Cute Craft Bar

Sew Cute Craft Bar happens at the Gunn Highway studio every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month for those who enjoy textile arts and crafts!  Stop by the adjacent Vanilla Bean Coffee and bring in your drink and sweet treat while you enjoy creating from our menu of textile arts.  From easy to challenging, we have a range of projects that include hand sewing, weaving, needle punch, embroidery and more!  This IS NOT a drop-off class and children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult who will work with them on their project.  This IS NOT and instructor led class, but our staff is happy to help you get started and troubleshoot any little glitches you might have with your project. 

Prices are per project you choose to create that day.  Come in any time from 9-12:30.  Supplies are limited and please allow yourself at least 1-2 hours to complete your project.  Ages 4-100.

Saturday Art Night

Saturday Art Night at our Westshore studio is a great time for you to drop off the kiddos for some open-ended fun while you have a little "Me-time" or catch a movie or dinner.  We set up fun arts and crafts stations for the children to choose from and give them plenty of time to play and socialize. 

Please make sure that your child is fed before drop off, we will not be eating at the studio.

This event is for children ages Kindergarten through 5th grade.

This is a drop-off class.

Your child can bring a personal drink, but no snacks please.

Cost: $40 for the first child and $30 per sibling.

Please register correct number of participants online.

PAYMENT MUST BE MADE DIRECTLY TO MS. LINDSEY THE NIGHT OF EVENT THROUGH VENMO OR CASH at the studio.

Knitting Class

Knitting Class is for students who enjoy creating beautiful things to wear and share that they have proudly made by themselves. Students will begin with understanding the basics like casting on, the knit and purl stitches and how to bind off, then they will get to complete a variety of projects as their individual skills develop.

Please follow the instructions on how to pay the instructor directly.  Attention Homeschool Families: This class is not available for the Step Up for Students scholarship because you are paying the instructor, not Yellow Bird Studio. However, you can speak to the instructor for a receipt for reimbursement.

This class is only offered at the Westshore location through December and then will resume Spring of 2026.
