Summer Art Camp 2020
Yellow Bird Studio's Summer Art Camp is loaded with a variety of fun and exciting projects for rising Kindergarteners to 5th grade. Each week we are inspired by a new theme, then we will bring our ideas to life with a variety of media and techniques. We have small class sizes so that our atelieristas can focus on providing your child with individualized instruction for projects that bring out their individuality and creativity. Pre-registration with payment is required to hold your spot-please see class availability.
All Camps are currently Full. If you couldn't get in to your desired camp, send us an email with your contact info, your child's name and age, camp name and if you want AM, PM or no preference, and we will place you on the wait list.

Age: Entering Kindergarten to grade 5
Price: $190 per child per week. Registration must be done online. If choosing the pay-in-person option, you may pay with check or cash, or Venmo the week of your registration to hold your spot.
Cancellation Policy: Full refund if canceling by April 30, 2020. 50% refund if canceling May 1-30, 2020. No refunds if canceling June 1, 2020 or after. No credits or make-up days given for missed classes.

Length: AM Session 9:00-12:00 PM Session 1:00-4:00 (No full day options; No before or after care provided)
Caregiver required: No
Pre-registration: Yes, to ensure your day and time are reserved.
Drop-in: No
Other: We will not be having a snack time, however, you can send a labeled drink in with your child. Please come dressed for mess!!!

Summer Camp Weeks and Themes:

Week 1, June 1-5: Rumble in the Jungle- It will be a swinging great time at Yellow Bird Studio as we guide our young explorers though an art-filled jungle of animals and their habitats in this mixed media camp that touches on a little of everything! AM and PM Sessions Full

Week 2, June 8-12: Unicorns and Magical Friends: This week promises a lot of sparkly, rainbow filled joy through art as we create unicorns with different media and some of their special friends! AM and PM Sessions Full
Week 3, June 15-19: Calling All Cars: This was such a hit last year that we are doing it again! Join us as we design, build and test cars and other things that go in this transportation inspired week. AM and PM Sessions Full
Week 4, June 22-26: Under the Sea: Mermaids and other ocean creatures will take center stage as we create underwater worlds for them with a variety of media that are inspired by the sea. AM and PM Sessions Full
Week 5, June 29- July 3: Wizards and Magic: Our first time offering this mixed media camp inspired by Harry Potter and other magical lore. AM and PM Sessions Full

Week 6, July 13-17: Garden Fairies: Enter the magical land of the fairies this week as we construct, paint and use textiles to create beautiful garden inspired masterpieces fit for wee folk. AM and PM Sessions Full

Week 7, July 20-24: Fashion Camp: (Best for 2nd through 5th grade. Not appropriate for 4-6 year olds.) This is the perfect camp for little fashionistas! With a heavy emphasis on drawing and sewing, we will design hats, dresses and accessories worthy of any runway. AM and PM Sessions Full
Week 8, July 27-31: Let's Go Camping: Last year was so much fun creating our mini-camp grounds that we are bringing it back again for those who missed out! Inspired by nature and camping, we will use construction, sewing, drawing and painting to design and build our ideal campsites. AM and PM Sessions Full
Week 9, August 3-7: Alien Invasion: Sound the alarm- the aliens are coming! Wild and beautiful art will be the result of our journey into space through the use of painting and construction. AM and PM Sessions Full
Week 10, August 10-14: Eco-Art Camp: We love the earth and know that kids do too. We will discover ways of re-purposing, re-using and re-cycling common materials to create really cool things to play with and decorate with.
