Service Description
Is your child passionate about animals AND art? Wild Art is for the nature loving child who wants to learn more about our natural world through art. Instructors provide background information about different animals, their habits, habitats and conservation issues, and then students use a variety of art to represent the animal creatively. Media include paint, drawing, paper mache, assemblage, sewing and more! Projects focus on product and are teacher led, and often take more than one class session to complete because of the level of detail and complexity. A great option for families with multiple children who love art and can come to the same class. Payment Policy: We work with the Step Up For Students and PEP programs. There are nine weekly sessions in the school year. Sessions last 4 weeks, with no class during the following weeks: Thanksgiving, Winter Break and Spring Break. You may join the class mid session and the next session will be prorated. You automatically keep your spot for the year once you enroll and payment is due monthly. Please give notice by the 25th of the month if you need to disenroll. A $5 discount is given for payments made in cash or check at the studio. A 10% discount is available for multiple children enrolling in classes or if you are enrolling a single child in multiple classes- please contact the studio for this option so that you are given an invoice with this discount. No credits are given for missed classes, however, you may attend another class that is age appropriate as a makeup. If the instructor has to cancel class due to personal reasons or due to weather emergencies, they will contact you regarding a make-up day option.
