Jump into Art and Joy in 2021!

First, we want to thank every single supporter of Yellow Bird Studio who reached out with words of encouragement, donations, and purchases of birthday parties, virtual classes, in-studio classes and camps. Without you, we certainly would have closed our doors! We opened Yellow Bird Studio in 2017 for the children in our community, to create a place where art and friends come together to create joy. Making memories has become more important than ever in these crazy times, and having a safe place for kids to come together in a small setting where they can socialize and connect with others has helped their social and emotional well-being. We are so happy to be a part of our young friend's lives. For us, their presence means more than we can ever say- their stories, jokes, smiles and creative thinking fill our hearts and sustain us. We are looking forward to a year of more art, more friendships and more joy!

We are moving forward with our classes and camps in 2021, and want to share what is coming up at the studio with you.

Art in the Park

We will continue holding Art in the Park for children ages 18 months through age 5 at Kate Jackson Park on Mondays. Art in the Park is set up as 5 different arts, crafts and sensory experiences with a little story time at the beginning. There are two time slots: 9-10 or 10:30-11:30. For families who came last fall, please note that the second class will start half an hour earlier at 10:30! Please bring a picnic blanket and come dressed for mess and in layers in case of chilly weather and don't forget your mask. In case of rain, the class will meet on Wednesday instead of Monday (assuming the weather will be better of course!).

School's Out Camps

Our School's Out Camp for the MLK holiday is live! Please go to our registration page to register and secure your spot. If you cannot register on our site, the camp may be full, so contact us via email to be put on a wait-list. We will have other school's out camps during the spring, however, we will release them each month because of the uncertainty with any mandated business closures due to Covid-19.

Spring Break Architecture Camp

This is probably one of our most favorite events at the studio because the longer time and extensive nature of the project really allow the campers to create amazing architectural creations that they can use and play with for years. We are asking for a $45 deposit at this time for this camp because of the uncertainty this far away with any community mandated business closures due to Covid -19.

Summer Camp

We are planning on having in-studio summer camp this year! A camp preview will come out on February 1, so please subscribe to our newsletter to find out when registration is live!

Birthday Parties

We are still doing in-studio parties on Saturdays or Sundays for up to 12 children and small at-home parties for up 8 children. To arrange for a free consultation or with any questions
