Weekend Are For Art at Yellow Bird Studio!
After settling in with our Fall Semester after school classes, we are ready to add in weekends of process art FUN for our young artists who can't make it during the week for regular classes.
All three of our studios will be offering a variety of arts and crafts experiences. Family Open Studio is a great time to spend with your child making art together on a Saturday morning. We set up different process art stations throughout the studio for you to work on together. Nearby restaurants and cafes at all of our locations turn it into a nice day out together!
The Heights will have Family Open Studio on the First and Third Saturdays of the month, starting September 5th.
Our Westshore Blvd location will have Family Open Studio on the Second and Fourth Saturdays of the month. The first one will be September 12th.
Our Gunn Highway location will have Creative Explorers Club for kids ages 4 and up every Saturday starting September 12th. Young explorers ages 4-9 will discover the world of art and nature through exciting stories, hands-on activities, games and creative crafts. Each week kids will explore a different creature while building curiosity, creativity , fine motor skills and early science skills through playful learning and exploration. Its for little explorers discovering big wonders! This is a drop-off class, however, you are welcome to stay near by or hang out at The Vanilla Bean Coffee Cabin next to the studio while your children enjoy the class. The first class will start September 12th and run weekly until the Thanksgiving break.
