Summer Camp Registration February 5th!

This Sunday, February 5th at 8:00 AM, we will be making our Summer Art Camp registration LIVE! We are so honored to be serving our community with another year of summer art camp fun and that it has become one of the best camps for creative kids in town!

Our preview is online now for you to see the different camp themes. Keep in mind not all camps are appropriate for the youngest campers, so please pay attention to the recommended age range if you have a child who is 5, 6 or 7.

Please be aware of which studio you are enrolling for since this year we have two studios! Choose the desired studio at the top of the registration section.

We are requiring full payment upon registration, so please take note of our refund policy on our Summer Camp page.

Spring Break Camps Now Enrolling!

Is your child crazy about creating buildings and things that go with them? Then this is the perfect camp for them! Our Spring Break Architecture Camp only available at our Westshore Studio is going into its 6th year and is still one of our favorites to put on. Children will "build" a house and paint, design wallpaper, furniture, and little people and pets to go in it. Space is limited to 8 children, so grab your spot before they are gone! Only appropriate for 2nd through 5th graders due to the nature of the projects and difficulty. Dates: March 13-17, 2023 Time: 10:00-2:00 Cost: $280 Refunds available only up until 2/28/23.

We will be offering single day camps at our Gunn Highway Studio during spring break! Pick one day or all five! During our 4 hour camp, your child will create art using a variety of mixed media, such as drawing, painting, crafting and even some sewing! Limited to 8 children per day. A great way to add some fun to your spring break! Appropriate for Kindergarten through 5th graders. Camp hours are from 10-2. $60 per child.

For both camps, we will take a half hour break for lunch so pack a lunch box and a drink. Come dressed for mess! FYI: No before or after care available.

Toddler and Preschool Classes: Update!

We have made a few changes and additions to our Toddler and Preschool class lineup.

• Westshore Studio: Little Art and Play Open Studio will now only be offered on Thursdays from 9:30-11:30. Come in any time and stay as long as you like. $15 per child. Pre-registration is required to hold your spot.

• Gunn Studio: Storytime Art and Play is on Wednesdays from 10:00-11:00. $10 per child. Preregistration is required to hold your spot.

• Gunn Studio: Starting this Saturday, we are holding a new class for PreK and Kindergarteners called Art Explorers. Our Art Explorers class meets twice per month as a "mini-session". It is specifically designed for young children to not only create beautiful things, but to problem solve, use their verbal skills, social skills and fine motor skills. We introduce them all kinds materials: Clay, glue, wood, paint, chalk pastels, oil pastels, recycled materials, beads, buttons and fabric. Available only at our Gunn Highway studio. Cost: $50 per child for a monthly mini-session every First and Third Saturday of the month.

Ladie's Meditative Art

If you want to create authentic art that no one else can create, let's get started! Ladie's Meditative Art at Yellow Bird Studio is the perfect class for you to use a variety of media in a beautiful and supportive atmosphere where judgements are left outside and acceptance is allowed in. Connect with other women as you dive into the therapeutic and freeing world of art. No talent required, just an open mind and a willing heart to go deep into yourself! Our next meeting is February 16th from 6:30-8:30 at our Gunn Highway location. This is a donation based class, so pay what you can or want to give, or come for free. All donations go toward a fund to give a deserving child a class or camp at one of our studios.

Valentine's Crafternoon at Gunn Highway Studio!

Love is in the air at Yellow Bird Studio! In this special Valentine's inspired Crafternoon, kids ages 5-15 will be creating lovely arts and crafts for someone special in their life and have a little fun making a sweet scented "love potion". This is a drop-off event- come dressed for mess! Cost: $25 per child Time: 1:30-3:30 Location: Gunn Highway Studio only

Free After School Trial Class at our Gunn Highway Studio

We are filling up our Art Club and Mini-Art Club classes, but have a few spots left on Wednesday for Art Club 2nd-5th grades, and Mini Art Club on Thursday and Friday, Kindergarten and First grades, so if you haven't tried a free trial class, please email us at YellowBirdNorth@gmail.com to schedule a day to come in and see why kids love it so much!
