Fall Class Registration at YBS!
First, we wanted to say THANK YOU to all the families who trusted us to have their children at the studio this summer! The studio was back to it's old-self with the sounds of the children chatting and laughing. Although we had to manage the classes a bit differently than in years past, the children enjoyed being there with their peers and making art.
Fall After School Classes at YBS
We have decided to offer after school classes this fall at the studio for Preschool through 5th grade. Some classes are already full, so don't miss out signing up for what is left:
Mixed Media for 2nd-5th grade: Mondays 3:30-5:30
Art Club for 2nd-5th grade: Tuesdays 3:30-5:30
Mini-Art Club for PreK-1st grade: Fridays 3:45-5:30
These classes are kept to no more than 10 children so that there is ample room to spread out and social distance. Pick-up and drop-off will be at the door to minimize the number of people in the studio. These classes are great options for families who are doing online learning, but still want a controlled opportunity for their children to socialize with others. It is also a way to provide your child with art classes, many of which are being eliminated at the schools. Masks will be required per county mandate.
Toddler and Preschool Fall Classes
We have decided NOT to offer indoor classes for toddlers or preschoolers because the number of people in the studio would not allow for ample social distancing. So, Ms Florie will be reprising her outdoor classes which she did a test-run of last winter as a substitute for the indoor classes. The added benefit will be that in addition to lots of vitamin D, there will be plenty of vitamin N (Nature!) Bring snacks, sturdy shoes, and a picnic blanket!
Nature School for Preschoolers 3-5: Tuesdays 10-12:30
Art in the Park for Toddlers up to age 3: Wednesdays 10-11:30
Weekend Classes
We will be offering Saturday Crafternoons and Saturday Art Nights throughout the fall! These are especially fun for children who love coming to YBS but can't make the weekly after school classes. Registration will be coming soon!
Birthday Parties
We are not opening the studio for birthday parties at this time. However, if you want an at-home art party, we will bring the art fun to you! Please call us for more information!
